Job Opening For Associate Design Director With FITCH

FITCH, Global Design Consultancy that translates brand into consumer experience, is looking for Associate Design Director. FITCH was established in 1972 with studios across the globe, namely the USA, Asia Pacific, Middle East and UK.  We are part of WPP plc, one of the worlds leading marketing services groups.

Job Purpose:

  • Management of medium and large projects from creative concept to delivery
  • Client presentation and management
  • Managing, guiding and mentoring team of designers

Key Responsibilities For Associate Design Director:

  • Creativity – delivering conceptual work of the highest creative standard
  • Delivery – organizing activities and responsibilities within projects, and ensuring deadlines and project timelines are met
  • Planning – developing a clear understanding of the proposal and to highlight and pre-empt issues that may arise
  • Client Management – coordinating activities for client presentations, attending client meetings and delivering a clear report of meetings
  • Leadership – to undertake project leader responsibilities (including creative, administrative and presentation within the brief)
  • Communication – ensuring consistent and effective communications take place across the project team
  • Best Practice – working closely with Creative Director, Design Directors and other senior members of the teams to help develop and nurture the creative studio and creative standards
  • Mentoring – motivating, inspiring and nurturing junior designers professionally

Professional and technical experience:

  • Strong retail background
  • Ability to communicate ideas, i.e. sketches, written, verbal
  • Demonstrable experience of liaising and developing client relationships
  • Proactive approach to technology, software and industry innovations
  • Proven ability in offering a multi-skilled and challenging outlook to creative briefs
  • Ability to perform consistently and reliably with a willingness to increase professional responsibilities, skills and understanding of broader market issues
  • Comprehensive experience in creative software relative to design software
